Deploy an app from eXo Cloud IDE to AppFog

Now you can deploy applications built in the eXo Cloud IDE, a web-based IDE service, to AppFog in just minutes.

eXo Cloud IDE is a multi-tenant, hosted development environment that enables social coding – the collaborative development of applications, gadgets and mashups that can be deployed directly to AppFog. Best of all, it’s completely free – and claiming your own Cloud IDE takes just minutes.

Step 1: Login to http://www.cloud-ide.com/ after you register

Step 2: Create a new application

Step 3: Name it!

Step 4: Work on your code

Step 5: Select Create Application from the PaaS > CloudFoundry menu

Step 6: Define App Settings

Server name must be set to http://api.aws.af.cm. We recommend auto-detecting the application type. Also, check “Start After Creation” for instant gratification.

Step 7: Wait for it…

Step 8: DONE!
